Today we completed more than 50m² of asphalt road repairs in Marks Road, Darling Point on behalf of Makka Constructions. The old existing asphalt was removed to allow for the installation of new water pipes before the base materials and new asphalt were installed.
To remove the old asphalt, we brought in a profiling machine to remove the top 40mm layer of old asphalt to give Makka Constructions access to the road base which they could then excavate to complete their pipe installation.
Removing the old asphalt with a profiling machine allows for a clean cut into the road surface making the installation of the new asphalt neater and more efficient improving the utility of the road and the general streetscape. We ensure the asphalt is reinstated to the clients and councils’ specifications.
Thanks to our technicians Jordan, Lewis and Jayden for a job well done and a big thank you to Makka Constructions for engaging us to complete the work.
