Today we completed a 20m2 asphalt patch repair with ramp installation against a newly installed concrete garage floor at a private residence in Sunnyside Ave, Lilyfield for Wanted Homes.
As you can see from the photos, there was an initial height difference from the existing asphalt to the garage floor and the ramp provides a smooth transition.
Thanks to our technicians Lewis and Jordan for a job well done and thank you very much to Brian from Wanted Homes for engaging us to do the work.

Quick fact / Did you know?
Asphalt is produced by heating a bitumen binder to decrease its viscosity and drying the aggregate (e.g. granite) to remove moisture from it prior to mixing. Mixing is generally performed with the aggregate at about 150 °C (300 °F) for virgin asphalt and 170 °C (330 °F) for polymer modified asphalt.
