Today we completed a 6m² asphalt patch repair / gutter edge repair against a newly installed concrete gutter / kerb in Bulkara Road, Bellevue Hill for Duffy Kennedy Constructions. When a new concrete gutter / kerb is installed, there is generally a section of the existing road asphalt that has been removed that needs to be reinstated.
To rectify this, we make sure the area to be reinstated adjacent to the new gutter is neatly cut and the existing road base is intact or reinstated before we install the new asphalt. We ensure the road base and asphalt is reinstated to the clients and council specifications. We ensure the asphalt is installed flush with the existing to ensure a smooth ride for road users and to preserve the streetscape for residents in the area.
Thanks to our technicians Jayden and Jordan for a job well done and thank you very much to Duffy Kennedy Constructions for engaging us to do the work.
